Mix it up with these concoctions from Mixologists around the World

Grappa Aperol Spritz

Give that Aperol Spritz some kick

  • 2 oz Aperol (Chilled)
  • 2 oz Prosecco (Chilled)
  • 1 oz Grappa
  • 1 oz Club Soda (Chilled)
  • 1 splash Orange juice (Blood Orange preferred) (Chilled)
  • 2 dash Orange bitters
  • 1 pinch Orange zest
  • 4 cubes Ice
  • 1 quarter slice Orange
  1. In a Double Old Fashioned glass (or large Highball)

  2. Add Ice, Aperol, Grappa, Orange bitters, and Orange juice

  3. Using a tilted side pour to preserve effervescence, add Prosecco and Club Soda

  4. Use pinch of Orange zest to rim the glass

  5. Garnish with quarter slice of Orange

Grappa Manhattan

When you are tired of Whiskey

  • 2 parts Grappa
  • 1 part Sweet Vermouth
  • 1/4 part Maraschino syrup (from the jar)
  • 1 whole Maraschino Cherry
  • 2 dashes Agnostura bitters
  1. Stir all ingredients with ice.

  2. Strain into a chilled martini glass.

  3. Garnish with a stemmed maraschino cherry.

The Corleone

An offer you can't refuse

  • 1.5 oz Gin
  • .5 oz Unaged Sangiovese Grappa
  • .5 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
  • .5 oz Simple Syrup
  • 1 dash Orange Bitters
  • 5 Green grapes
  1. In a pint mixing glass, add 5 green grapes and hand press with a muddler.

  2. Add gin, grappa, lemon juice, simple syrup and orange bitters.

  3. Fill glass with ice, shake vigorously for 8 seconds, double fine strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

  4. Garnish with a green grape (sliced at its tip) placed on the rim of the glass (2 o’clock to the guest.)

Bassano Manhattan

An American Classic gets remade with Italian Flair

  • 2 parts Nardini Grappa Riserva 15 Anni (or other 15 year aged Grappa)
  • 1 part Carpano Antica Formula (red vermouth) (or other red Vermouth)
  • 2 dashes Angostura bitters (or other bitters)
  • 1 Cherry Maraschino Cherry
  1. Blend all of the ingredients together in a mixing glass and stir.

  2. Serve in a frosted champagne glass.

  3. Garnish with a maraschino cherry.
